Why Seek the LORD?

Why SEEK the LORD?                                                                             

Now does it not make sense to simply take the great gift of redemption which Christ has made possible for us so that we ourselves do not have to pay by such eternal torment in hell?  Since the debt is already paid, and offered as a gift from God, why ever not? 

Has Satan blown us so far off course, that like ships at sea we list towards him instead of God our Heavenly Father?  Your body and spirit united are your soul.  It is your body which feels heat and pain. Remember Satan will not suffer as much as you or I, he does not have a physical body. So, what’s your choice? Who is on the Lord’s side, Who?   Well, to quote the words of David O. McKay,

‘you tell on yourself by the friends you seek,                                                                         

By the very manner in which you speak,

By the way you employ your leisure time,

By the use you make of dollar and dime.                                                                         

You tell what you are by the things you wear,

And even the way you wear your hair,

By the kind of things at which you laugh,

By the records you play on your phonograph,

You tell what you are by the way you walk,

By the things of which you delight to talk,

By the manner in which you bury deceit,

By so simple a thing as how you eat.

By the books you choose from the well-filled shelf.

In those ways and more you tell on yourself.’’

But.

Because you are a beloved child of God, who is indeed your very own Heavenly Father, whose first son even Jesus Christ has already paid the price of your sins. His young missionaries carry two set of scripture as spoken of by God himself, in Ezekiel 37:16-20.  Only the restored Church of Jesus Christ possess them both.  Therefore, be alert and aware of to whom listen.

Matthew 7:22-23, 22 “Many will say to me in that day, LORD, LORD, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?        

23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity”.

Satan in his Light-House ministries will attempt to light you on fire. In addition, Satan has many so-called churches all using the Bible alone to obfuscate the word of God. They all purposefully ignore Ezekiel 37: 16-20. Moses trembled in front of Satan, until he sought the Lord.  So Go, Seek the Lord.
